EPL Giants to Return to Hong Kong
Get ready for the return of the HKFC Standard Chartered Soccer Sevens – the ultimate seven-a-side football tournament! From 16 to 18 May, the Hong Kong Football Club will host an action-packed weekend full of top-tier football talent and non-stop excitement.
Brighton & Hove Albion, last year's champions, are back to defend their title, joined by Premier League clubs like Aston Villa, West Ham United, Leicester City, and local favourites BC Rangers and Yau Yee League Select. Plus, we're excited to welcome first-timers AZ Alkmaar, Western United, Larne FC and Macau FA to the mix!
The HKFC Standard Chartered Soccer Sevens is known for its fast-paced, high-energy matches that'll keep you on the edge of your seat, with some of the world's best young players showing off their skills. It's a great chance to see emerging football talent in action.
The Women's Tournament returns for a second year after its hugely successful debut in 2024, and this time, it's bigger than ever!
Wrexham AFC Women will headline the six-team line-up, making history as one of the first overseas-based women's team to play at Sports Road. Joining them are Chonburi FC Women from Thailand and Eastern Thunder from Singapore, both making their first appearances at the event. Alongside these international teams, local powerhouses TSL FC, Kitchee, and Hong Kong Football Club will compete for the title.
It's set to be an exciting battle for the trophy. The Masters Tournament will see returning teams like Singapore Football Club Masters, last year's runners-up, and former winners Wallsend Boys Club HK alongside Ampcontrol Discovery Bay.
The competition will be completed by HKFC Masters, HKFC Chairman's Select, Singapore Cricket Club Masters, the Yau Yee League All Stars, and KCC Vets, making it a packed eight-team field full of fierce competition.
Beyond the football, there's plenty of fun for the whole family – with food, drinks, interactive games, and more. It's going to be a weekend to remember!
