Staveley Miners Welfare came back from 0-2 down against Radford FC to secure an exciting 2-2 draw at Inkersall Road in Staveley, Derbyshire.

'The Trojans' scored two in less than 15 minutes in the second half to nearly bag 'The Pheasants' who threatened at one stage to take all three points on their travels from Nottingham. The two teams also drew 2-2 in this fixture in 2025.

Access

From Chesterfield Station walk to Clayton Street (about 15 minutes) to take an 80 bus. Get off at the Market Place stop from where it is a 5 minute walk to the ground. Alternatively from Chesterfield Station walk 5 minutes to Olympia House and catch the more direct 77A Worksop-bound bus to Market Place. A third option is a 90b bus to Markham Vale from Cavendish Street which also stops at Market Place.

There is parking for 80 cars at the ground plus 4-disabled spaces. Additionally, there is an overspill car park for another 80 cars off the main car park and a further 80 spaces in the nearby Juniors car park just a short walk to/from the ground.

Facilities

The ground features four covered stands: two standing areas, one fully seated stand for 170 spectators, and a purpose-built, fully air-conditioned and heated stand for elderly and disabled supporters with 24 seats. The playing surface at Inkersall is 3G artificial grass. There are pylon-style floodlights.

The licensed clubhouse, rated 5-Star for Food Hygiene, shows Sky TV and TNT Sports and serves a range of hot and cold food. It is also available to hire for private functions.

There is also a fully stocked club shop offering over 10,000 programmes for sale.
