West Ham United Captain Mason Terry has set his sight on unseating defending Champions AZ Alkmaar, as he prepares to make his third consecutive appearance at the HKFC Standard Chartered Soccer Sevens 2026, which will be held on 22–24 May.
The AZ Alkmaar captured the title on their debut with a thrilling 1-0 victory over Brighton & Hove Albion last year. West Ham United will lock horns with the Dutch outfit in Group A of the Men’s Tournament this Saturday, following their matches against Hong Kong, China Representative Team and HKFC Captain's Select.
Leeds United are set to take on Brighton & Hove Albion in Group B, where the debutants will also play against Singapore Football Club and Hong Kong Football Club. Meanwhile, seven-time winners Aston Villa will face off against Lee Man, Singapore Cricket Club and Larne FC in Group C. Yokohama F. Marinos will feature in Group D, where they will be joined by Glasgow Rangers, BC Rangers and Yau Yee League Select.
