Scotland v Morocco, World Cup 2026
Scotland lost 1-0 to Morocco in their Group C game at Boston Stadium.
Ismael Saibari opened the scoring for Morocco in the second minute - the earliest goal of the tournament so far until beaten by Paraguay's winner against Turkey from Matias Galarza after just 64 seconds.
The North Africans capitalised on one of their few clear chances to secure all three points, while Scotland were left frustrated after struggling to convert their 40% of possession into goals. The result leaves Morocco well placed heading into their final group match, while Scotland face a difficult task to keep their qualification hopes alive with a game in Miami versus Brazil.
