Only four teams now remain in contention to win the 2022 World Cup in Qatar after the quarter finals. These include the present bookies' favorites Argentina and the current world champions, France.

England, Portugal, The Netherlands and Brazil all possible winners have been knocked out.

Croatia were the beaten finalists last time out in Russia 2018 and could meet France in a repeat of that final.

Morocco have reached the semis for the first time in their history. They now have the support of the whole Arab world as they take on France at Al Bayt in the second of the semi finals.

Odds favor an Argentina v France final, South America v Europe, Messi v Mbappe. But in a tournament of shock results, who knows?
