Kashima Antlers secured a narrow 1-0 victory over Nagoya Grampus at Kashima Stadium in Round 12 of the 2025 J1 League season. The decisive goal in the evening kickoff came in the 54th minute, when forward Kei Chinen found the net, assisted by Naomichi Ueda. The match was evenly contested, though both teams struggled to create opportunities beyond the lone goal. The biggest highlight in a rather dull game was Antlers legend, Zico, who was in attendance at the game, appearing on the big screen at the end.
