Kimberley Miners Welfare v Wisbech Town
Kimberley Miners Welfare took on Wisbech Town in the United Counties League Premier Division North at Greenwich Avenue in Nottingham on January 3.
Their own 1,000-capacity Stag Ground is undergoing repairs so KMW are playing the 2025-2026 season at the home of Nottingham neighbours, Basford FC.
Wisbech Town won the match 1-2. Of note was the fact that one of the assistant referees was local Notts legend Barry Polkey.
