At the recent FIFA Women's World Cup 2023™ Draw, Carli Lloyd talked about her excitement for the tournament and encouraged fans not to miss out on this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity in Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand.

"There's not a whole lot of time between now and the tournament, so now the excitement truly kicks in. I think this World Cup is going to be the best one yet because we're seeing the results of the investment, the support that's been coming through, and the brand of football on the field just keeps getting better," said Lloyd.

"This is probably going to be the hardest World Cup to win and, in terms of quality, it just keeps getting better. Although I miss competing, I'm looking forward to sitting back and watching it as a fan."

After an immensely successful initial sales phase where the first day of ticket sales exceeded the entire first week of the 2019 tournament in France, interest from fans around the world is anticipated in this new single match pass sales period which will be available to all fans from 1 November 2022.

The FIFA Women's World Cup 2023 will be an accessible and family-friendly tournament with affordable single match pass prices starting at AUD/NZD$20 for adults and AUD/NZD$10 for children. Single match passes are being sold on a first-come, first-served basis so fans are being urged to act quickly to secure tickets to the biggest women's sporting event in the world.

The final ticket sales phase will open in April 2023 before the competition kicks off at Eden Park in Auckland/Tāmaki Makaurau on 20 July and finishes on 20 August with the final at Sydney/Gadigal's Stadium Australia.
