Fifa's World Rankings for July 2023 were published on July 20, 2023 at FIFA HQ in Zurich, Switzerland.

There is no change in the top 11 teams since June.

World Cup winners Argentina remain at the top of the rankings. France are second followed by Brazil.

England are fourth, followed by Belgium, Croatia, The Netherlands, Euro 2020 winners Italy, Portugal, and Spain.

Morocco who reached the semifinals in Qatar are the top African team in 14th place. Wales are 35th. The USA are in 11th place (no change).

Australia are in 27th place again no change since June; Japan are in 20th position. Near neighbors, South Korea are 28th on the list. Scotland are in 30th position.

The Republic of Ireland are in 53rd place down one, and Northern Ireland remain 64th. The lowest-ranked team is San Marino in 208th place.
